Hotel Kukdo Seoul Accommodation Review - Myeong-dong Area Hotel Review

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodated to our request for a high floor and corner room. The hotel location is good, just walking distance from Myeongdong street market.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kukdo in Seoul. The location is incredibly convenient — it’s less than a one-minute walk to the subway, and there are bus stops right in front of the hotel, including a direct airport bus. The hotel is surrounded by two major subway lines, making it very easy to reach all parts of the city. The staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. My room was cleaned every day, which made the experience even more comfortable. Overall, the location, accessibility, and service were excellent and made my stay truly memorable. I love Seoul, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

I usually look around the Myeongdong area, but due to overtourism, I couldn’t find anything at the usual prices, so this time I made a reservation as a backup without much expectation.

The good points after arriving were:

1. They provide a surrounding map at check-in.
2. The airport limousine arrives and departs right in front.
3. The cleaning is well done.
4. Both the bus stop and subway station are within a 1-3 minute walk.
5. There are plenty of buses to Dongdaemun, Myeongdong, Namdaemun, and Seoul Station.
6. It’s convenient being on subway line 2.
7. The convenience store and pharmacy on the first floor are well stocked.
8. There are cafes like Starbucks and A Two Some Place to the right of the hotel.
9. The rooms are larger than those in the Myeongdong area.

Although I had known the name for 20 years, I never used it due to its somewhat unusual location, but after trying it this time, I really liked it. I definitely want to stay here again next time.
