Seoul Dongdaemun HOSTEL VANILLA 2 DONGDAEMUN Hotel Review and Experience

I would rate this hostel 10/10.
Although the room is small, it is fully equipped with amenities. Snacks, candy, milk, and instant noodles are all provided free of charge and without limit. There’s a shared space with a washing machine, refrigerator, kitchen, and dining utensils. You can also store your luggage before check-in or after check-out.

The male staff member was very kind and always willing to help. He even carried our suitcase upstairs for us. The room was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hairdryer, and surprisingly even facial cleanser, lotion, and moisturizing face masks. Everything was great and definitely worth the price.

The location is also extremely convenient — very close to the train station, bus stops, the airport limousine bus stop, and several convenience stores.

If I have the chance to return to Korea, I’ll definitely stay here again. Oh, and the hostel also provides umbrellas, which was truly helpful since we arrived during the rainy season.

I think I’ll recommend this accommodation to my friends for the following reasons:

1. The home is lovely, with a gentle decor and fully equipped with amenities like shampoo, body wash, laundry detergent, microwave, etc. — just like a real home.
2. It’s conveniently located near the city center, close to many restaurants and the Myeongdong night market.
3. The area is quite peaceful, which is perfect for light sleepers like me.

Had a really great stay at this hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. Place was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Location was also very convenient and nearby to subway station. This place offers free foods and drinks at the pantry - cup noodles, cookies, candies, juices, coffee, milk. Perfect for travelers who want a good mix of comfort and value. I would definitely stay here again.
