Seoul Dongdaemun Hamory Guesthouse Dongdaemun Hotel Review and Experience

The location, transportation, and comfort are all great!! The only downside is that I have to handle my luggage myself since there are no hotel staff to assist during loading and unloading, but it’s a place I really love! This time, there was a time when I thought the water pressure was weak (it might get a little weaker if others are using the shower). Due to the nature of the place, other guests are often awake during the night, so there’s no need for us to be too sensitive about some noise! (It’s not acceptable to make noise on purpose.)

Within a 5-minute walk, there are a bus stop, convenience store, and train station, with several exchange offices within 10 minutes. It takes about a 15-minute walk or 10 minutes by bus to Nam-Pyeonghwa Market and the wholesale market. In Korea, the food portions are quite substantial, so the distance for a little walk to consume them is just right. While it doesn’t have the amenities of a luxury hotel, it is well cleaned, and the water areas and floors are tidy. Both the host and hostess have a very kind atmosphere, making it one of my favorite inns. I would like to stay here again next time★

Exit from exit 10 of Dongdaemun Cultural Park Station, walk straight along the path, and it is next to the shoe store past the CU on your right. When I informed them about my delay, they emailed me the entrance door code, room passcode, and Wi-Fi number, which made me feel at ease to arrive late. They lent me two face towels each, and when I left the used ones on the table, new ones were placed when I returned. The room was spacious enough to comfortably open my suitcase. The bathroom was also large, and as usual, I covered the toilet to avoid any splashes, but it was perfectly usable without any issues. The owner was kind and saw me off at the entrance door when I left. I definitely plan to stay here again next time.
