If you’re on a budget travel, this place is for you. The room might be small, but really good for resting. There are facilities like microwave and laundry. So it won’t be a hassle for you. The host is really really nice which I am much appreciative about. He helped us throughout our stay! He is very considerate and approachable!!! Will go back here when I get back to Seoul. Location is also nice, it’s really close to Dongguk University stop.

We had such a wonderful stay at Joy Guesthouse! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth that made us feel instantly at home. We checked in around 4 a.m., and the owner kindly waited up and woke early just to make sure we were accommodated. He even helped us carry our four heavy suitcases upstairs—such a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the rest of our stay.

The guesthouse is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need: fresh coffee, a washing machine, umbrellas, snacks, and all the little touches that make a stay truly comfortable and convenient. Check-in was smooth and stress-free, and the owner went above and beyond by allowing us to store our luggage for extra days at no charge, which was incredibly generous and helpful.

Thank you for creating such a joyful, relaxing, and welcoming environment. We genuinely appreciate every moment and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Owner is very kind. Room was bigger than usual. Guest house is well organized. Facilities are above average. Some noise; next time, I would request a different room.
