DW Stay Hongdae Seoul Hongdae Hotel Review - Check if it's a good accommodation

The place is new and furniture and fixtures are of good quality. Unlike other Hongdae hostels or airbnbs, DW Stay has a luggage elevator which is a dumb waiter then you walk up or down the stairs. There is a phone at the first floor to contact the staff and she easily picked up the phone for instructions. There is a common dining area in the first flr with a toilet while other floors have water dispensers, coffee sachets and a fridge. The room is relatively big because I can open my XL luggage and have room on one side. The bathroom is bigger than most hostels in Myeongdong and Hongdae I’ve stayed in. It has a divider and there were 2 showers. It is also in a very quiet area and I couldn’t hear any noise outside or in nearby rooms unless they open their door. I will stay here again!

The location is very convenient and Safe.

I booked this accommodation because I thought of sightseeing based in Hongdae! It was in a very good location, about a 10-minute walk from the station and another 10 minutes to the center of Hongdae. The room had a bunk bed, which I thought was enough for two girls traveling together, but when we opened our suitcase, there was no space to stand, so it was a bit cramped after all. The water area was clean, there were plenty of outlets, and there was a television, so we enjoyed a fulfilling stay. The amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and soap only, with a water server in the hallway. There was also a hairdryer! The airflow was not a problem. This is a great accommodation for those who want to save on lodging costs!
