Soul Gangnam O2 Oneroomtel Shinonhyun Branch Recenze Hotelu a Zkušenost

I had to move into O2 last minute due to some issues with my previous accomodation and was so glad I found O2. The owner is extremely responsive and the facilities are very clean. It is a bit dated but everything is clean and tidy. They also provided shower items, toilet paper and even some freebies (I got some noodles + heat packs). Whenever I bumped into the staff, they were always very friendly and asking me if I needed anything.

One thing to note though, it is a gosiwon so walls are very thin. Bring earplugs and expect noise. Some people tend to slam their doors even into the wee hours of the night - as long as you’re ok with some noise, you’d be okay here.

The location is also amazing and exactly as advertised. I’d stay here again if I had to do a long-term stay.

This was my first time at O2 Oneroomtel Shinonhyun. I’m quite familiar with the area and had no trouble finding the place. It’s great that there’s a lift we can use, as most of these types of in-building-shoebox hotels have only stairs. If I remember correctly, there was 1 towel, hair dryer, fridge, TV, handsoap and rinse in shampoo. The facility will text you with self check-in guidelines a day prior your check-in via agoda (shift to LINE or KKT) and share the details the day of check-in. They will text you quite a lot about the check-in but rubbish disposal method (sorting), check out etc. I stayed during the summer, the AC was on 24/7 throughout the floor - so downside is you can’t adjust the temperature. But it was quite cold, so those who are concerned the AC will be weak - rest assured. Hot water runs well, WIFI works great but it took me a few attempts to be able to connect (connecting was a challenge - though ID and PW was correct). I didn’t check the shared kitchen, but assume that a microwave, water server and electric kettle will be availble. Just a 3-5 mins was into center of Gangnam/Shinnonhyun. The room was as you see on the photos. The bedding and room itself was clean and didn’t spot any bed bugs or bugs in general! The walls are a bit thin (esp. when other guests are a load sneezer) but its not that bad, as during my stay it seems like all guests were very respectful and other than the sneezes I didn’t heat any noise. Unlike some of the other places I’ve stayed at where I could hear TV., music, chatter etc from other rooms - didn’t hear that here. Totally recommend if you’re like me an want a private place to stay with your own bathroom and fridge - this is a gem as the location is spot on and the price is so affordable. I’ll definitely stay again!
